How do I join?
The quickest and easiest way is to join online. Alternatively, you can come into the Club to fill out our membership subscription forms, or you can call us on 01481 723366 to arrange for the forms to be emailed through to you.
What are the opening hours?
06.30 – 21.00 Monday to Thursday, 06.30 - 20.00 Friday and 08.00 to 18.00 on Saturday and Sunday. Bank Holiday opening times vary and are published on our website at the appropriate times.
Are children allowed in the club?
Children under 16 can be signed up to membership as a dependant of a full individual member. This entitles them to various use of the club’s facilities under supervision as stated in the club rules. At the age of 16, a child can join the Club independently, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Can anyone use the Gym?
We are a private members club however we do offer a visitors fee. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire.
Can children go in the Sauna and Steam Room?
Children under 16 are not permitted in the sauna or steam room for health and safety reasons.
Can I use the club as soon as I have joined?
No, all members require a Club Induction which is free of charge. These Inductions provide you with important information about the Club. We offer a variety of Induction types, including Fast Track, which takes less than 10 minutes, Group and Individual Options which are more detailed and take around 30 minutes. Further details will be provided by the Club once you have joined.
Are Personal Trainers Available?
Our male and female Personal Trainers are available to assist you to achieve your targets and goals. All of our trainers are fully qualified and trained with a wealth of experience and many have specialist areas of expertise. You can read the profiles of all of our trainers here.
How much is it for a Personal Training session?
Sessions start from £25 and vary depending on the type of session you choose, the frequency and the trainer you choose to have them with.
Do you provide group exercise classes?
We run over 100 exercise classes per week consisting of 18 different disciplines. We are the only venue in the Channel Islands to offer eleven different Les Mills disciplines meaning we really do have something for everyone.
Do classes cost extra?
Classes are free to members which provides fantastic value. Non-members may also participate for a fee and subject to availability.
How can I book in for a class?
Members may book in for a class up to seven days in advance and non members can book up to five days in advance. Contact our reception team on 723366 to make a booking, alternatively members can use our online booking facility by clicking here. Bookings can also be made via the Kings App.
Can non-members use Pelicans at Kings?
Pelicans is open to both members and non-members and entry is free of charge.
How long are the swimming pools?
The indoor pool is 16 metres long and the outdoor pool is 20 metres long.
Can children swim at any time?
Children can swim in the Indoor Pool between the hours of 10.30 – 17.00 Mondays to Thursdays, 10.30 – 18.00 on Fridays and 11.30 – 18.00 on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no Adult Only Swim Times for the Outdoor Pool.
Are children allowed to use the Jacuzzi?
Children aged under 8 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 in the Jacuzzi. Children aged between 8 and 16 must be supervised when using the Jacuzzi, but the supervisor is not required to be in the Jacuzzi with them.
Are there any time limits for use on any piece of equipment?
There are no time limits set, but consideration of other members is appreciated.
How can I make a booking for tennis or squash courts?
A member may book tennis or squash courts up to seven days in advance of the required booking. Contact our reception team on 01481 723366 to make a booking, alternatively members can use our online booking facility by clicking here. Bookings can also be made via the Kings App
How long can I book a court for?
Tennis courts can be booked for a maximum of two hours per session.
Squash courts can be booked for 40 minutes at a time.
